As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Stockton Civic Theatre
depends on volunteers not only for its actors, but for all the other
vital tasks necessary to the theatre’s operations: in the business
office, in the scenery and costuming shops, back stage and in the
front of the house. At SCT, those volunteers who play support roles
automatically become members of the theatre’s Footlighters
organization. Live theatre is a catalyst for new ideas - it not only entertains
but also enriches the lives of those who participate - whether as
audience members, performers, or volunteers. As a member of the
Footlighters, you will do many things beyond supporting one of
California’s oldest and most successful community theatres. You will
make new friends, learn new skills and become an important part of
Stockton’s vibrant performing arts scene. Join us! We’ll match your interests and talents to the theatre’s
